Relic Perks: Strong perks that grant temporary effects for a short duration upon using Relics.

Utililty Perks: Also referred to as 'Quality of Life' perks, these perks provide small buffs that blend well with the rest of the Archetype’s gameplay elements.

Team Perks: Perks that focus on providing buffs and other effects to your allies, the team, or yourself if playing alone.

Damage Perks: Perks that scale the damage output of your character and gain effectiveness as you level up the Archetype.

The other 4 Perks may have to be unlocked through progressing and levelling your Archetype, and each slot performs different functions: From the get-go, you'll be able to choose your Prime Perk - the perk that defines your playstyle. Similar to Traits in Remnant: From the Ashes, these passive abilities can be leveled up by investing certain points into them.

I feel like this day in age the answer should be a resounding yes, especially for a PvE co-op game. There are 5 Perk Types, and only one Perk can be equipped per Type. At least once a week I google Remnant 2 cross-play/progression with no official answer. Remnant 2 Archetype Perks provide passive abilities while equipped.
